Other people are reading your field accurately. What they reflect
Other people are reading your field accurately. What they reflect back to you is the relationship you have with yourself, not their independent assessment. Triggers, withdrawal, overgiving, tightening — each is data about your own inner state. Source-marked from Dr. Sue Morter, "From Drained To Nourished," April 2026.
The transmission frames others as mirrors rather than judges. The people in your life are not telling you objective things about yourself; they are reflecting your current self-relationship in their responses. This reframe makes relationship-difficulty into self-knowledge.
Most cultures train their members to interpret others' responses as judgments — they think I'm not enough, they don't respect me, they reject me. The mirror frame says: their response is their nervous system's resonance with the field you are emitting. What you are emitting is shaped by how you are relating to yourself right now.
Common mirrors:
This is not blame-the-self. The mirror frame is liberating because it returns agency. If the difficulty is your relationship with yourself reflected back, you have access to the variable that matters. Trying to change other people is mostly hopeless; changing how you are loving yourself shifts the field they are mirroring.
The transmission specifically warns against using the mirror frame to dismiss others' real grievances. If someone says you have hurt them, the response is not that's just your mirror. The response is I hear you, and I will look at what in me created this for you. The mirror is a tool for inner listening, not for outer deflection.
