The language layer of the 2000 Bjorg-Muff thesis. BML is self-describing — its parser grammar (BMF) is itself written in BML, and the runtime carries both the grammar form (BMF), the assembler (BMA — Bjorg's Angelic Assembler), and the object model (BMO). Object system inherits from Smalltalk-80 (detached interfaces, delegation, metaclasses) with shared inheritance and tagging on top. Source samples in the body archive at docs/field/urs/artifacts/master-thesis-2000/companion/source-samples/ (BMF-grammar.bml, container-Rule.bml, primitive-Cut.bml). The Cut primitive comes directly from Prolog ancestry; non-determinism, choice, and backtracking woven into the language semantics rather than bolted on as a library.
